I enjoy giving new life to discarded pieces of furniture. This sturdy little wooden bookcase was abandoned on a curb in Oakland. With just a little patching and sanding it was ready for a new look. I have always been intrigued with old-fashioned milk paint and this was a perfect opportunity to try out milk paint as a medium of creative expression. Love it!
