I painted a five part series of artwork based on Metatron’s cube. These were designed to be the backs of body process cards that have since been discontinued. Three of the original pieces are still available for sale at $250 each. They measure roughly 11″ x 17″. Mixed media: pen, pencil, acrylics, watercolor.
This piece was created in 2014 as a joint effort between my daughter and me. We worked on it over Thanksgiving weekend when she visited me. I would do some and then leave it. She would follow with her inspiration and then I would come back to it with mine. After several rounds this is what we created.
This piece of art became the cover photo for the book, Deconditioning Ground. It is for sale at $2500.
I enjoy giving new life to discarded pieces of furniture. This sturdy little wooden bookcase was abandoned on a curb in Oakland. With just a little patching and sanding it was ready for a new look. I have always been intrigued with old-fashioned milk paint and this was a perfect opportunity to try out milk paint as a medium of creative expression. Love it!
